GoHighLevel API & Webhook Development
Connect GoHighLevel with your other business tools. I build custom API and webhook connections that move the data you need, check for duplicates, and make errors easier to find.
When a custom integration makes sense
Zapier or Make may be enough for a simple connection. Custom code can help when a connector is missing a feature or cannot handle your business rules.
I first check what each app allows. Then we decide which app controls each piece of information and where updates should go. For supported app connections, see Zapier and Make automation. Website projects belong under WordPress and GoHighLevel integration.
Agree on what moves between your apps
Data and access
- Choose the events and actions the connection needs.
- Confirm the required account access.
- Match fields between the two apps.
- Decide how to identify existing records.
Errors and repeat updates
- Prevent the same event from creating duplicate actions.
- Plan what happens when an app is unavailable.
- Keep useful logs and flag failed transfers.
- Agree on how to retry or correct a failed update.
Example: an external request becomes a CRM opportunity
Here is an example, not a client case study. Your business app sends a new request. The connection checks the request, finds the right customer, and adds or updates the agreed record in GoHighLevel.
If the same request arrives twice, it checks the request ID before doing the work again. If GoHighLevel is unavailable, it follows the agreed retry rules. If a required field is missing, it flags the problem so someone can correct it.
The exact steps depend on what each app supports. We test both a successful transfer and a failed one before launch.
What you receive
You receive the agreed connection, a list of field mappings, setup notes, and test results. I explain where the code runs, who manages access, and how to check for problems.
If the connection needs its own hosting, we agree on who owns and pays for it. Ongoing monitoring, maintenance, older data imports, and extra connections are separate items unless included in the project.
Access and platform limits
Tell me which apps you use, what data should move, and which direction it should go. A sample record with private details removed is useful. So is an estimate of how many updates you expect each day.
Do not send passwords or API keys through the inquiry form. We agree on a secure way to provide access before work starts.
Available features and account permissions affect what we can build. Software, hosting, and usage fees are separate from development. HighLevel publishes API request limits and a webhook guide. I check the rules for the connection your project needs.
Questions about this service
Can you connect any app?
Only if it offers a suitable way to access and update the required data. I check that before agreeing to build the connection.
Can data move in both directions?
Sometimes. Both apps must support the actions we need. We also need rules for conflicting updates so one app does not keep overwriting the other.
Do I always need custom code?
No. A supported connector may be simpler. I recommend custom code when the other options cannot handle the work properly.
Can you fix a broken connection?
Yes. Share what should happen and an example of what goes wrong, with private details removed. I can review access, field mapping, and failed updates.
Tell me which systems need to exchange data.
Bring the source, destination and one example event. We’ll establish feasibility and the responsibilities of each system before defining the build.
